The Funny & Fabulous Tour includes winners and the best talent from the heralded Ladies of Laughter international competition, the one-and-only women’s comedy programming with the sole purpose of highlighting, celebrating and furthering the careers of women in stand-up comedy. See 2 past winners, including Alycia Cooper, with totally unique backgrounds and sensibilities.
ALYCIA COOPER
In addition to being the 2014 Professional National Grand Champion, Alycia has been the opening act for such household names as: Dick Gregory, Paul Mooney, Whitney Cummings, Felipe Esparza, Bob Marley, and Tony Rock, to name a few. Alycia is a favorite at clubs and casinos all across America and has appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” and “Nick’s Mom’s Night Out.” Alycia Cooper was chosen the 2014 Ladies of Laughter Professional Winner by WE-TV, Comedy Central and Gotham Comedy Club talent executives.
POPPY CHAMPLIN
The 2024 Ladies of Laughter National Professional winner, Poppi was comedically trained at Chicago Second City Training Center. She eventually moved to Los Angeles to perform stand-up comedy as well as study acting Her stand-up resume is extensive: Winner, America’s Funniest Real Woman on The Joan Rivers Show; featured on Entertainment Tonight, Showtime, LOGO, Comics Unleashed, Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO and Oprah. Poppy has opened for such comics as Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Bill Maher, Bill Hicks and Rosie O’Donnell.
