A MESSAGE TO OUR PATRONS
Effective Friday, March 11, 2022 the Weinberg Center for the Arts lifted our vaccination/proof of negative Covid test requirement for the public to attend performances. Our mask mandate was previously lifted on February 28, 2022, when the City of Frederick, who owns and operates the Weinberg Center, lifted that requirement for all its facilities.
Anyone who has purchased a ticket to an event and feels uncomfortable with the changes, will receive a full refund for their tickets. Masks will still be highly recommended but not required. If the health situation changes, mandates may have to go back in place at a moment’s notice. Some casts and artists performing here may have specific contractual details that require either the vaccine or mask policies or both be reinstated for an event; therefore, we recommend checking back here for any updates before attending a show.
The Weinberg Center for the Arts will no longer allow patrons to bring back packs into the theater. All other bags/purses may be subject to inspection at all performances.
Tickets to all performances at the Weinberg Center are available exclusively from the Weinberg Center box office and website. We do not use third party ticketing sites except Certifikid and Goldstar. Tickets purchased through other sites are quite possibly a scam and we cannot guarantee the validity of ticket purchases made this way.
