Twin Musicians, One Musical Soul

Las Áñez presents twin sisters on stage singing their original Latin-American songs, bringing energy, rhythm, and an infectious spark to Frederick.

With four award-winning albums, Las Áñez’s combination of folklore and contemporary music has captivated the public from 10 countries across America and Europe with their unique blend of folk and avant-garde for eight years. On stage, Las Áñez fills every corner of the venue and pulls listeners into a hypnotic resounding ritual. The naturalness and versatility of this vocal Colombian duo is accompanied with minimal percussion, a small keyboard, and a loop station.

Notable performances include: Rudolstadt Festival Folk Roots Weltmusik (Germany), Festival Fabbrica Europa (Italy), Historic Museum of Hannover (Germany), Millenium Stage of The Kennedy Center (USA), and many more.
