The Power of Hope & Family

Everyone’s favorite little redhead takes the stage in Annie, the beloved family musical that proves optimism can brighten even the darkest of days. Set in Depression-era New York, the story follows spunky orphan Annie as she dares to escape the clutches of the tyrannical Miss Hannigan and finds an unexpected home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks. With her loyal dog Sandy by her side, Annie’s infectious hope inspires everyone she meets, reminding us that love and kindness can change the world.

Featuring showstoppers like “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” and the enduring anthem “Tomorrow,” Annie is a joyous celebration of courage, resilience, and the belief that brighter days are always just around the corner. Families and theatre-lovers alike will leave humming the songs and smiling at the triumph of hope against all odds.

Support the Weinberg

The Weinberg Center is an institution of value to Frederick. It is a vital part of the economic life of Downtown Frederick, attracting more than 85,000 patrons annually who visit shops, restaurants, and local stores. Furthermore, the Weinberg provides educational programs to over 8,000 Frederick county school children each year. And the Weinberg continues to bring world-class performing artists to the heart of downtown Frederick for our community to enjoy. We are committed to keeping ticket prices affordable for our community. So to cover the costs of the arts we present, the Weinberg — like theaters nationally — must find other sources of support. Please consider making a contribution to this historic theater.
