A captivating journey through three intertwined stories told through dance, inspired by the profound connections between a sculptor and their artwork. Allow our narrator to guide you through this artistic exploration,

  • Fish, sculpture and inspiration by Bethany Lee, choreography by Eve McKennah
    • Facing your deepest thoughts is like diving into the depths, where you encounter fish that symbolize your innermost fears.
  • The Crinoid Gate, sculpture and inspiration by Glenn Richardson, choreography by Rebecca Hopkins
    • Different species of animals must find ways to work together in order to survive. Human beings are no different.
  • Natural phenomena, Attraction, sculpture and inspiration by Brian Kirk, choreography by Alexandra McGriff,
    • Exploring the natural phenomena that is being human and our connection to each other and earth.

Throughout this journey, you will experience the depth of human emotion, the interplay of internal and external conflicts, the marvel of natural occurrences, and the overarching theme of connectivity.

Support the Weinberg

The Weinberg Center is an institution of value to Frederick. It is a vital part of the economic life of Downtown Frederick, attracting more than 85,000 patrons annually who visit shops, restaurants, and local stores. Furthermore, the Weinberg provides educational programs to over 8,000 Frederick county school children each year. And the Weinberg continues to bring world-class performing artists to the heart of downtown Frederick for our community to enjoy. We are committed to keeping ticket prices affordable for our community. So to cover the costs of the arts we present, the Weinberg — like theaters nationally — must find other sources of support. Please consider making a contribution to this historic theater.
