Minority Youth Talent Show

Join us for an evening of youth talent, art, and resources. May is recognized as Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month; this event will celebrate diversity through the arts. The theme of this event is Breaking the Stigma around minority mental health issues. The event will include a Photovoice exhibit on Minority Youth Mental Health: A collection of images and short narratives from minority youth from Transformative Arts Project work with local communities. This event is sponsored by the Asian American Center of Frederick, a nonprofit that provides health resources, education, training, and cultural inclusion and awareness of immigrant communities—cosponsored by Minority Health and Health Disparities of Maryland Department of Health – Community Conversations.
