With the background of a licensed music therapist, the curiosity of a writer, the resolve of an activist, and the voice of a singer, Kyshona (Kuh-SHAUN-Uh) pursues the healing power of song. Her descriptive songwriting and soulful vocals blend folk, rock, and R&B with lyrical prowess. No wonder her compassionate lyrics and uplifting voice earned Best Protest Album of 2020 by Nashville Scene, and  NPR Music writes, “…wherever she plants her feet, she does so with righteous conviction and a strong sense of her own voice.”   A performance not to be missed.
