On Sunday, October 21, at 2 pm, Curious Iguana will host Kate DiCamillo at the Weinberg Center for the Arts, 20 West Patrick Street, in Downtown Frederick. DiCamillo will speak about Louisiana’s Way Home (Candlewick Press, 10/2/18), her eighth novel and newest book for middle-grade readers that continues the story of Louisiana Elefante, one of the beloved characters in DiCamillo’s Raymie Nightingale. A question-and-answer session and book signing* will follow the author talk.

The October 21 event, presented by Curious Iguana in partnership with the Weinberg Center, is one of 15 stops on DiCamillo’s nationwide book tour. It is her only event in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.

*Please note that the signing is limited to Louisiana’s Way Home and one additional copy of another DiCamillo book, including Good Rosie (releasing 9/4/18), Mercy Watson series, Raymie Nightingale, Because of Winn-Dixie, and Tale of Despereaux. New and previously released titles will be available for purchase at the event.
