Formed in 2000 by twins Adriano and Caterina Sangineto, the Ensemble Sangineto has a deep connection to ancient music and a passion for Irish, Breton, and French traditions. With the addition of guitarist and bouzouki player Jacopo Ventura, the band skillfully blends ancient harmonies with modern rhythms, creating fresh arrangements of traditional tunes and original compositions. Their enchanting sound, combining harp, bowed psaltery, and polyphonic vocals, evokes dreamlike and joyful atmospheres.
