Frederick’s annual film competition returns for year 19! Over 740 films have been made throughout the first 18 years for the Fest, showcasing talent from across the region. Dozens of teams consisting of writers, directors, actors, set designers, editors, composers and other screen artists will have only a weekend to make a short film. All of the shorts premiere Friday night over two blocks, with the finalists and award winners showcasing again on Saturday night. The 72FF Award Ceremony directly follows the Saturday night screenings.
